Westridge HR Professionals is growing, and we are seeking to welcome a Human Resources Advisor to our team. This is a part-time role supporting clients across the Niagara region with the potential for additional hours as our client base continues to expand.
For more than 19 years, Westridge has provided practical Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety advisory services to employers across a broad range of sectors, including manufacturing, engineering, industrial distribution, hospitality and tourism, healthcare, agriculture, retail, professional services, and the non-profit sector.
Our work focuses on supporting business owners and managers with day-to-day HR matters, including employee relations, recruitment, policy development, performance management, and workplace safety. For individuals with experience in a single organization, this role provides exposure to a wide range of workplace environments and HR practices in action.
This is a part-time position with a minimum of 20 hours per week. While scheduling is flexible, there may be occasions where additional hours are required to meet client needs. As the organization continues to grow, there is potential for this role to transition into a full-time opportunity.

What You Will Be Doing
Working alongside experienced HR professionals, you will support a range of client organizations by:
- Providing practical HR advice to business owners and managers
- Supporting employee relations matters and workplace investigations
- Assisting with recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding
- Developing and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and related documentation
- Supporting accommodation requests, disability management, and return-to-work processes
- Assisting with Joint Health & Safety Committee activities and workplace inspections
- Supporting the preparation and delivery of training sessions and workplace education
- Conducting research on employment legislation and HR best practices
- Maintaining client records and HR documentation
- Supporting a variety of HR-related administrative and project work
What We Are Looking For
- College diploma or university degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 1–3 years of HR experience in a coordinator or generalist role
- Working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
What You Can Expect
