Key Responsibilities:
- Purchasing Process: Oversee the purchasing process, from evaluating needs to negotiation, contract proposal, and order issuance.
- Strategic Improvement: Continuously improve procurement methods, processes, and controls.
- Supplier Insight: Understand supplier capabilities, market trends, and cost structures, building long-term and mutually beneficial relationships.
- Data Analysis: Conduct routine data analysis and reporting, distilling intricate scenarios to provide proposals and recommendations.
- Cost Optimization: Implement actions to reduce purchasing costs and improve safety and quality levels of materials, goods, and services.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage actively with other departments, including sales, marketing, and production.
- Market Intelligence: Leverage market information to support purchasing decisions and enhance the decision-making process.
- Negotiation Expertise: Efficiently negotiate with suppliers, validate agreements, and monitor ongoing results.
- People Management: A relationship builder who bridges all levels of staff, from the floor to management.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- BA in a related field, Purchasing Designation preferred.
- Able to use Excel for data analysis.
- Experience with Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.
- Experience in group buying and collaborative procurement practices.
