Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Train employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and proper equipment usage.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, or near misses, analyzing root causes and implementing preventive measures.
- Maintain and update safety documentation, records, and reports as required by regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with management to foster a culture of safety awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
Your progressive experience includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Safety Manager or in within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage employees at all levels.
