Payroll Manager

Position Overview:

Key Accountabilities:
- Manage and supervise the payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Review and reconcile payroll data, including timesheets, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements, including federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve payroll-related discrepancies and provide necessary reports.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a medium to large-sized organization.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
